The brand is distributed by a distribution network including more than 25 Pain de Sucre brand stores and 650 independent retailers around the world.

Pain de Sucre is looking for a commercial development and marketing assistant, on an internship or work-study basis.


Reporting to the commercial development and digital marketing department, you will be in charge of the following missions:

Assist the business development department:

  • Monitoring of retail websites: compliance with the PDS image and conditions.
  • France and international prospecting: multi-brand stores, digital platforms and marketplaces.
  • Competitive monitoring.
  • Verification, restitution and monitoring of reports from French sales agents.
  • Reporting and analysis of French and international wholesale activity, particularly through the various B2B platforms (Le New Black, Joor).
  • Assistance in partnership management.

Assist the e-commerce division in collaboration with internal teams and partner agencies (e-commerce, SEO, SEA, after-sales service logistics, community management):

· Assist in putting the product catalogs of the B2C and B2B site online: template, selection of cross sells, filters and merchandising.

  • Daily functional monitoring of the back office of the B2C Shopify site: alert points, fraud risks and order processing time.
  • Ensure the brand's e-reputation: enrichment of the Google My Business page, responding to comments, evolution of the response bible and checking store network opening hours.
  • Weekly monitoring and reporting of meetings with the e-shop partner agency
  • English translation of product sheets.
  • Proofreading and improvements of SEO texts with the e-commerce partner agency.
  • Search and model suggestions for e-shop shoots.
  • Verification of compliance with PDS conditions within marketplaces: view of stocks, prices, content and propose improvements.
  • Support the digital marketing department in various projects: social networks, collaborations, etc.

Coming from a higher commercial education such as Bac+4/5, you are a student in business school , university cycle or equivalent. You are looking for an end-of-studies internship or work-study program. A first experience in a sales function is a plus.

  • Complete mastery of Excel and the Office suite.
  • Fluency in fluent English; spoken, read and written.
  • You have excellent writing skills in French.
  • Autonomy, strong team spirit, organizational skills, strength of proposal, rigor, versatility and proactivity.
  • You are creative, keen to participate in the development of the brand's image on all channels, to propose new ideas and ready to carry them out independently.
  • Web culture, interest in social networks and influence, mastery of Photoshop/Video editing and sensitivity to women's fashion are a plus.
